As an animal lover with a passion for caring for our loved pets, I’m excited to introduce you to Galloway Pet Sitting.

I studied animal care at Barony College in Dumfries and I’ve always had a deep connection with animals. Throughout the years, I’ve been entrusted with the care of pets belonging to my friends and family. Now, I’ve turned my love for animals into my business.

My Services

At Galloway Pet Sitting, I offer a reassuring and friendly pet care service. I understand the importance of finding someone trustworthy to care for your beloved animals. Your pets will receive the same love and attention as my own pets, Lilly-dog, Cakey the cat and my minature Shetland pony, Aggie.



Feeding & Watering

I ensure your pets receive their regular meals and fresh water according to their specific dietary needs.



Dog Walking

For dogs, each visit includes a short walk to provide exercise, stimulation, and a chance for a bathroom break.



Cuddles and Playtime

I provide ample love, affection, and interactive play sessions to keep your pets happy and entertained.



Scooping poop

I clean up any messes and maintain a clean environment for your pets. This includes litter tray and cage cleaning for indoor pets, dealing with accidents and disposing of any ‘gifts’ your cats may bring you.



Health Monitoring

I keep a close eye on your pets’ well-being, including monitoring their behavior, appetite, and overall health. I will promptly inform you of any concerns. In the event of your pet becoming seriously ill, I can get them to the vet promptly.



Holiday Service

If you are holidaying on the Rhins of Galloway, I can look after your pet in your holiday home while you go out for dinner or visit a venue where you cannot take your dogs.

Home care

While caring for pets in your own home, I offer a free home care service to provide added security and convenience. This includes bringing in mail, opening and closing curtains, and adjusting lighting to give your home a lived-in appearance while you are away.

I am based near the Mull of Galloway and cover the southern part of the Rhins of Galloway.

How it works

Before any pet sitting, I will visit you at your home to get to know your pets and discuss your requirements. I will then give you a no obligation fixed price and if you’re happy to go ahead, we can get your dates in the diary.

I am insured to look after:

dogs
cats
birds
rabbits
small rodents such as hamsters, rats, mice, gerbils, guinea pigs, etc
equine: horses, ponies, donkeys
chickens
tortoises
